Indoor PE is on a Friday afternoon. Children should wear blue or black shorts and a yellow t-shirt.
Outdoor games is on a Thursday afternoon. Children should have appropriate outdoor footwear (trainers), joggers, full length leggings or tracksuit trousers and a jumper, hoodie or sweatshirt. On Friday, they can come to school already wearing this kit - they do not need to bring it and get changed in school.
PLEASE NOTE: Ideally, jewellery should not be worn on the days of indoor PE and outdoor games. Children will be expected to remove jewellery themselves and be responsible for the looking after their own jewellery. Long hair must also be tied up.
Home Reading
It is expected that every child reads at least 3 times a week, preferably more! In Year Five, children can read independently. The reading record must always be signed by an adult. Children can change their book daily. Every Friday every child must bring their reading record and book to school to count their reads for our classroom reading display. Children receive house points when they have achieved 3 or more reads and when they reach 100 reads they will be mentioned on the whole school reading celebration display.
