Autumn Term
Rev Amos visited the children in Reception Class and talked to them about the role of the church in the community. He also brought his guitar and taught the children a new song.
Diwali
We have been learning about the Hindu celebration Diwali. Children throughout the school have taken part in activities - creating rangoli patterns using different media and materials such as rice and chalk. They have designed their own mehndi patterns and created diva lamps using playdough.
Remembrance Day
The Children in Reception Class observed the 2 minute silence watching the Cbeebies program 'Poppies'
Christmas
The children in Reception Class visited The Priory Church. Rev Christine talked to the children about the Christmas Nativity Story.
