Year 3 Spring Term
The Topic for this term is 'Disasters at Sea.'
During this term, we learn about the Titanic and complete a local study of the ‘Great Gale of 1871’ as part of our History curriculum. This is always a favourite with the children in Year 3 (and across the school). We make lot of cross-curricular links as you will be able to see in the photos below.
Reading
We continually celebrate the reading of all the children in Year 3.
We aim to read a variety of texts throughout the term to show the importance of 'Reading for Pleasure' as well as using reading to develop our vocabulary. Please see below the texts for this term
